Samsung S10 Release Date + Screen Size Improvements
The Samsung Galaxy S10 was released in 2019 and was a game changer for the standard S Series lineup annually offered by Samsung. For customer sitting on the sidelines with their S8 or S9, they definitely saw a reason to shell out and upgrade.
With a 6.1" Dynamic AMOLED HDR10+ display, it is a visible improvement on the 5.8" display that customers with a Galaxy S9 are accustomed to. It also comes with battery improvements - 3,400mAh instead of 3,000mAh with the S9 and the ability to reverse wirelessly charge devices at 4.5W.
Buying A Used Galaxy S10 - Worth it in Canada?
The mobile device market is certainly different in Canada, and with carriers incentivizing upgrades and long-term contracts so much it can help knowing your options in terms of purchasing a pre-owned S10 device.
If you're looking for a solid upper end Android device with a noticeably better screen than those cheaper cell phones under $200, the S10 - which is only 3 years old - still a great option in 2022.
The OLED screen is definitely something that stands out, but these type of displays can be sensitive and hide deep scratches or heavy signs of aesthetic wear and tear. Avoid purchasing one off Kijiji or Facebook marketplace where it can be hard to see or test for issues with the AMOLED. Some issues can be intermittent and not easily recognizable until after some time using the phone. That can be either aesthetic or functional. We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.
For any undamaged products simply return it by mailing it back to us or visiting us in your nearest location within 14 days. We'll exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method and condition of the product.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Mobile devices must have ORIGINAL packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase. Mobile device and tablet returns will be inspected upon arrival, inspection takes 1-3 business days.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
