The Galaxy S6 Active was released exclusively by AT&T in 2015 and was only available in the United States. It was a variant of the popular Samsung S6 but had a rubber exterior, almost a built-in case. It was popular among contractors and those that work in rough conditions and spawned many future versions, like the S7 Active or S8 Active.
